Traditional Goju-Ryu Karate

Belt Exams

Seiwakai Belt Exams are generally held every three months. Typically, students must practice 3-6 months before taking the next exam. For intermediate and advanced levels, students require 9-12 months of consistent practice to be eligible.

Kata

You are required to know all the kata for the rank you are grading, however, instructors will determine the primary kata you should be focusing on. Emphasis will be placed on quality, not quantity. Please strive to be ready for any kata listed in your grading rank requirements.
