Short Forms are pre-arranged kumite drills.

SHORT FORM 1

Age: Set Up Attack

  • Step back, Hidari Zen Kutsu Dachi (Left Front Stance)

  • Gedan Barai (Down Block), Kiai

  • “Oi Tzuki Jodan!”

Uke: Acknowledge Attack

  • “Hai”

Age: Attack

  • Step foward Migi Zen Kutsu Dachi (Left Zen Kutsu Dachi)

  • Migi Jodan Tzuki (Left Face Punch)

Uke: Defend

  • Step Forward Hidari Zen Kutsu Dachi

  • Migi Geidan Tsuki (belt level)

  • Slide front foot back into Hidari Neko Ashi Dachi

  • Hidari Yoko Geri (Kiai)

  • Stay in Kamae

Age: Recover

  • Heiko Dachi

Uke: Recover (only after Age recovers)

  • Heiko Dachi

SHORT FORM 2

Age: Set Up Attack

  • Step back, Hidari Zen Kutsu Dachi

  • Gedan Barai (Kiai)

  • “Oi Tzuki Chudan!”

Uke: Acknowledge Attack

  • “Hai”

Age: Attack

  • Step foward Migi Zen Kutsu Dachi

  • Migi Chudan Tzuki

Uke: Defend

  • Step Forward Hidari Zen Kutsu Dachi

  • Hidari Yoko Uke

  • Hidari Jodan Tzuki

  • Migi Chudan Tzuki (Kiai)

  • Upon chambering your punch, slide back into Hidari Zen Kutsu Dachi

Age: Recover

  • Heiko Dachi

Uke: Recover (only after Age recovers)
